Air conditioning and water heating equipment is only as good as the installation behind it. Every unit supplied by Climate Control Warehouse carries the manufacturer's full warranty, but that warranty depends on the equipment being installed by a suitably qualified, registered installer in accordance with SANS 10142-1 and local municipal by-laws. A Certificate of Compliance is required wherever a new electrical circuit is installed. Where this standard is not met, the manufacturer will not honour the warranty, and no distributor can override that.

Warranties are also void where a unit has been modified, misused, serviced by an unauthorised party, installed outside its rated ambient conditions, or where required routine maintenance has not been carried out. Keep your installation documentation and Certificate of Compliance safe, as these are needed to lodge any claim. Faults should be reported through the procedure set out on the warranty card supplied with the product, and we will assist you through that process.

Returns are accepted within 10 business days of delivery, but only where the unit remains unopened and sealed in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation intact. Once a unit has been opened, unpacked, installed, or an installation has been attempted, it can no longer be returned. Approved returns carry a 10% handling charge, and return transport is for the customer's account. Units found faulty on arrival are handled separately, at no charge, provided they are reported within two business days.
